By using Book Maker — through our mobile app or web platform — you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the service.

1. Overview

Book Maker is a writing and reading platform. This document explains the data we collect across our iOS app, Android app, and web platform at bookmaker.cv.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how your data is used. We do not sell your data to third parties.

2. Data We Collect

Account information: email address, username, display name, bio, and profile/cover images you choose to provide.

Content: books, chapters, quotes, summaries, journals, comments, and other content you create or upload.

Usage data: reading progress, reading time, book views, and interaction data (likes, saves, follows).

Device data: device type, OS version, app version, and IP address used for access logging and abuse prevention.

Communications: direct messages and group chat messages sent through the platform.

Push notification tokens: Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) device tokens used to send you notifications. You can disable notifications in your device settings at any time.

We do not collect payment card numbers or banking details. All payment processing is handled by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not sell your data.
